Once when I was in my school, there were huge teams for sports, and everything were really high profile because of the kind of team mates I had. Our captain was the best player as evidently every captain should be in the Class A food ball team of the High school team. He was pivotal in making everyone in the team perform top notch encouragement that even our coach was not able to give us. Till now I remember the motivation words that he gave me out of the entire lot as I was my team's most sought after goal keeper.

As a captain one must know the importance of him in the team, and in general as in the case of real life, when situations like certain persons discussing charity/community, at dire situations. Cisco Certification at its height

Before talking about anything, I must say an important factor which may tend to make you think that I am boasting in front of the people. But its a fact that I am a Cisco certified network associate, or more commonly known as CCNA. After struggling hard to get enough money to enroll into a course that was offered by the top private educational firm in my native place, I went along with some of my best mates for a three to four month course. During this speech, Cheran also made a derogatory remark against the press. This irked all the media persons present at the venue who staged a walkout condemning it. All the time I've been in my home country I had not been exposed to sea food noe had I eaten one of them. But many of my friends expressed their willingness in introducing me to sea food and its loads of delicacies. Rajini apologizes to Kannadigas

With just a few days to go for Kuselan's worldwide release, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists seem determined to block the release of Kuselan in Karnataka. Earlier it seemed as though the issue was resolved, with the Karnataka Film Chamber Commerce striking a compromise of screening at least ten prints of the movie in Bangalore.

Today it would seem this cannot be taken for granted. With this in mind, Rajinikanth has now issued an apology for his 'anti-Kannadiga statements", appealing to the people of Karnataka not to block the release of Kuselan there.

"This incident has taught me a lesson. I shall never commit such a mistake again. Please allow the release of Kuselan in Karnataka, urged Rajinikanth, speaking to Kannada channels. "The people who are opposing me are also children of Karnataka. They are doing it for their state. Please, please forget the past and whatever I have said. Allow me to release my film. I am ready to help Kannadigas also," the star added. Earlier he had even sent a letter of regret in Kannada but the activists wanted a public apology, which he has now given. But the question now is: how will his repeated apology be viewed in Tamil Nadu?

However, some sources say that Rajini did not offer an apology as such, but only explained his difficult situation, caught as he seems to be in the crossfire between Karnataka and Tamilnadu.

Meanwhile, all the tickets for Kuselan's Friday opening in Bangalore have been sold out.

Kuselan beats the final hurdle!

Meanwhile, the president of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, actress Jayamala said that Rajinikanth had sent a hand-written letter explaining that he had no intention of hurting the sentiments of Kannadigas. He reiterated in his letter that people other than Tamilians also enjoy his films.

The era of Bollywood frequenting the tube started thereafter in a grand scale and we see more of Shahrukh and Salman on TV than on the big screen these days. Let alone reality shows, Shahrukh has modeled for products ranging from salt to satellite dishes and everything in between, giving professional models a run for their jobs. Although Shahrukh’s class teacher act for Paanchvi Pass on Star TV couldn’t render the same magic that his Crorepathi did, Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dhum is making waves owing to

his nonchalant ways of making the guests relax while hurling questions at them. Latest in line is Akshay Kumar, who, true to his daredevil image, is hosting the Indianized version of the Fear Factor show on the recently launched Colors TV.

While this is the scene up North, Southern television is screaming for want of attention from creative heads. Not to mention, Kollywood star power has never paid much attention to television. Rajini’s fans disappointed

If you thought Kreedom has sent director Vijay into hibernation, you are gravely mistaken. For he has just furtively finished his ‘Poi Solla Porom’ with Nasser, Karthik, Nedumudi Venu, Preethi, and a few debutants, and even rolled out its music album today. Hotel Green Park played host to the event this morning and saw an attendance of a horde of glitterati from Tamil cinema.

True to the movie’s title, the invitation listed many lies ranging from silly ones like ‘the movie was shot in just 11 days’ to ‘A Hollywood Superstar is acting in this Movie’ without any postscripts leaving a few poor souls to take it for true. Popular Malayalam singer M G Sreekumar scored for the movie and a first copy of the album was released by Nasser to Editor Mohan.

Addressing the gathering, Nasser mentioned that Vijay’s movie would be taken as the benchmark for comedy movies in Tamil cinema after its release. “It’s a tremendous achievement by Vijay and he has pulled off the arduous task of directing a comedy movie with much ease,” he added.

Shobana's 2 Crore tribute to her aunts

Danseuse and actor Shobana, in a press conference held yesterday, said that she is working on building a dance school – Kalarpana. The school will be located in the heart of the city – Alwarpet – and will have all the latest facilities including an air-conditioned hall to conduct dance performances. It is estimated that the building would cost about Rs. 3 crores and Shobana had spent about Rs. 2.5 crores for this project, which she considers is close to her heart. Shobana, in an effort to complete the building, has planned to conduct a dance show – Maya Ravan - in the Music Academy on July 18th.
